On November 18, 2022, the Friars of St. Joseph of Cupertino Friary and Father Ray Mallett celebrated the first-year anniversary of the Ordination of Father Dien (John Baptist) Nguyen. Three years ago, Father Dien, spent time with us helping with mission appeals. During the three years since his last visit, he was ordained a deacon and then a priest. He was ordained on November 19, 2021. He is flying back to Vietnam on November 19th.
The Friars had a steak dinner in his honor along with an anniversary cake for dessert. Father Dien is the Director of Postulants at our Annunciation Friary in Cu Chi, Vietnam.
