After ten years of work by the Friars of the Our Lady Help of Christians Delegation in Australia, and the Friars of the St. Joseph of Cupertino Province of California, and many Friars worldwide, the Delegation of Vietnam reached a milestone in their progress. On August 22nd, Friars Peter Nguyễn Hữu Phước and Anthony Lê Sỹ Dương were ordained to the Priesthood by Archbishop Paul Nguyễn Văn Đọc of the Archdiocese of Hồ Chí Minh City. The ordinations were celebrated at the parish of Bùi Phát in the the 3rd District, Hồ Chí Minh City. The ordinations were attended by Rev. Benedict Baek, Assistant General for Asia, and Friars from both Australia and California.
