Eight men from the United States, one from Canada, and on friar returning for a second year of postulancy make up this year’s class of Postulants at our friary in Chicago, IL. They will live this year in community being formed in our daily prayer life, classes to learn more about the Catholic faith and the Franciscan Charism, and serve together in ministry at St. Ita Parish tutoring students in our school serving mostly immigrants and refugees, or St. Thomas of Canterbury parish serving in our food pantry or soup kitchen, all within walking distance of the friary. Congratulations to these men! Keep them in your prayers. (Learn more about our Franciscan Men in formation, and becoming a friar on our vocations page.)
