On Saturday, November 4, 2023, the Knights of Columbus of the St. Maximilian Kolbe Council held their annual fundraiser and silent auction to benefit the education of the Province’s student Friars. The event took place in the parish hall of Our Lady of Grace Parish, Castro Valley, CA.
About 60 parishioners attended the event as well as the Friars of the parish and from the Provincial House. Father Victor, our Minister Provincial, as the emcee read the Greccio account from the life of St. Francis recalling the creation of the first live nativity reenactment 800 years ago. This year the Order is celebrating worldwide the 800th Anniversary of the Greccio event.
