As the postulancy year ends, the postulancy directors blessed them and gave the postulants a new set of breviaries for the novitiate and thereafter.
“Postulancy” is the first year of initial formation in the Order of Friars Minor Conventual, a mendicant order within the Holy Roman Catholic Church. It is a year of introduction to and immersion in the Franciscan lifestyle.
