Rejoice in the Lord always. I shall say it again: rejoice! Phil 4:4-7
In this Advent season of preparation, we direct our hearts and minds to Christ’s second coming at the end of time and to the anniversary of the Lord’s birth on Christmas. This week, we light the pink candle that represents JOY. This candle symbolizes the light of God coming into the world to bring healing and joy.
Prayer for joy
Lord God, may we keep our eyes fixed on Christ and experience the joy of salvation as we celebrate Advent with love and thanksgiving. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen”.
