At 9:30 AM, on January 27th, 2024 the Profession Mass took place in Christ’s King Parish – Ban Me Thuot Diocese of the Conventual Franciscans’ Novices. Their name are Timothy Le Hieu Thuan, John Baptist Mary Tran Khac Cong.
In the Mass, Custos Joseph Tran Van Long, OFM Conv. was a presider with Reverence Vincent Ngô Văn Hùng – Parish’s Pastor, with concelebrant priests, and with attending to all friars belonging to Custody, our guests, and our novices’ relatives.
The profession is a gift from God that He gave to Our Novices on a special day. That gift was given not only to the newly professed but also to Our Custody. Through the act of vowing to observe the virtues of obedience, non-possession, and chastity, Our Novices generously dedicated themselves to serving God, the Church, and Humanity through the mission and charism of the Order Friars Minor Conventual.
Please keep praying for Our Novices to be supported by God’s grace so that they can be strong and faithful in keeping their vows.
