As we draw near to the culmination of this holy season, the fourth and final week of Advent, we invite you to prepare your hearts to make room for Christ. This week, we light the final purple candle that represents LOVE. This final week of Advent, let’s joyfully celebrate God’s incredible love for all of us, beautifully shown through the birth of His Son. Take some time this week to reflect on the good news of God’s love brought to us by the angel Gabriel. The fourth candle in the Advent wreath is known as the “Angel Candle”.
Let us continue preparing our hearts for the hope, peace, joy, and love through Jesus Christ.

Father, all-powerful God, your eternal Word took flesh on our earth when the Virgin Mary placed her life at the service of your plan. Lift our minds in watchful hope to hear the voice that announces his glory and open our minds to receive the Spirit who prepares us for His coming. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
