THE DEACON ORDINATION MASS IN ST. FRANCIS ANTHONY FASANI – VIET NAM
On August 31, 2025, Bishop Joseph Nguyen Tan Tuoc, Bishop of Phu Cuong Diocese, ordained two friars of the Order of Friars Minor Conventual, namely: John the Baptist Nguyen Pham The and Joseph Le Pham Viet Hoang at the Annunciation Friary in Cu Chi.
The Mass gathered all of the friars in our Custody, men and women religious, and lay people from many places to attend the Mass and pray for the candidates. In Bishop Joseph’s homily, he called on the ordinands to be aware of the mission they were preparing to receive, and to serve people with humility and lowliness according to the charism of St. Francis. The Mass has been celebrated in a solemn and fervent atmosphere.
After the Mass, everyone took souvenir photos and had a simple breakfast in brotherhood.
